1. About these Terms
Novis Tripoperates a travel business offering taxi hire, curated tour packages and custom trips across Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Amritsar (Punjab), India. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Novis Trip, and “you” means the person making an enquiry or booking or otherwise using our services.
2. Enquiries, quotes & bookings
- An enquiry or quote request is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we accept it and (where applicable) you pay any required advance.
- Quoted fares and package prices are based on the details you provide (dates, route, number of travellers, vehicle/package). Changes to these details may change the price.
- You are responsible for giving accurate contact details, traveller information and trip requirements. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.
3. Pricing, taxes & payment
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes, including GST, apply as per law.
- Unless stated otherwise, quoted fares do not include toll, parking, state entry taxes, permits, driver night charges, monument/entry fees, or personal expenses.
- We may ask for an advance to confirm a booking, with the balance payable as agreed (for example before or at the start of the trip).
- Payments are processed through third-party payment providers; their terms also apply.
4. Cancellations & refunds
You may cancel a confirmed booking by contacting us. Cancellation charges may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel and any costs already incurred on your behalf (such as hotel, permit or partner advances). Any advance may be partly or fully non-refundable. Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

5. Changes & rescheduling
Requests to change dates, routes, vehicle or number of travellers are subject to availability and may change the price. We will try to accommodate reasonable changes but cannot guarantee them.
6. Traveller responsibilities
- Carry valid government-issued photo ID for every traveller, and any documents required for your destinations.
- Permits: certain areas - especially in Ladakh (Inner Line Permits for places such as Nubra, Pangong and Tso Moriri) and some border/protected areas - require permits. You are responsible for holding valid permits; we can assist where possible, but entry is at the discretion of the authorities.
- Behave lawfully and courteously; do not carry or consume illegal substances, and do not cause damage to the vehicle. You are responsible for any loss or damage you cause.
- Follow the driver’s reasonable safety instructions, especially on mountain roads and at high altitude. Seek medical advice about high-altitude travel (for example in Ladakh) where relevant.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is your responsibility.
7. Our services & drivers
We provide vehicles with experienced drivers. We aim to provide the vehicle category booked; if the exact vehicle is unavailable, we may provide an equivalent or better alternative. Estimated travel times and itineraries are indicative and may vary due to road, traffic, weather and local conditions.
8. Force majeure & conditions beyond our control
The regions we serve are mountainous and weather-sensitive. We are not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, snow, landslides, road blockages or closures (such as on the Srinagar-Leh or Srinagar-Jammu highways), strikes or bandhs, curfews or restrictions, government or military orders, natural disasters, accidents, vehicle breakdown, or acts of third parties. Where a trip is disrupted by such events, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternatives, but additional costs (such as extra stays) may apply and third-party charges may be non-refundable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts, omissions or services of independent third parties (such as hotels, monument authorities, or other operators). Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Website use & intellectual property
The content on this website - text, images, logos and design - belongs to Novis Trip or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes to plan and make bookings. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission, or use the site unlawfully or in a way that harms its operation.
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
12. Privacy
Our use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at the place of our registered office in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue amicably.
